Status Page

A status page is a public or private web page that shows the current health of a service and its components, and communicates incidents and maintenance to users in one trusted place.

A status page is the single, trusted place where a team communicates the health of its services — showing which components are operational, degraded, or down, and posting updates as incidents and scheduled maintenance progress. It sets expectations, reduces inbound support requests during an outage, and gives customers a self-serve way to check what’s happening.

Status pages are most useful when they’re driven by the same incident management workflow responders already use, so updates go out without extra manual steps.
